Extensive bathroom remodels in Cave Creek

We had two bathrooms at this home in Cave Creek Arizona to take care of. First we focused on the Master Bathroom. We took a dated shower and jacuzzi tub and turned it into a large walk in shower. We had to relocate the drain to the center of the shower enclosure and build a custom mortar pan. We cost value engineered the project and saved the client money on their budget by utilizing a “splash panel” and eliminating the shower door. This cut the shower glass budget by nearly 50%.

The Hallway bathroom was a messy surprise! The previous contractor built the shower enclosure with regular drywall and it grew mold that needed to be remediated. We demoed the shower walls, remediated the mold and framed the new walls with HardieBacker cement board. We then waterproofed the new walls with Red Guard vapor barrier and built a nice subway tile surround.
